Community Involvement
Community Involvement
Community service is a priority at M.S. Domingo Law Group P.C., in part because Mika was motivated in her upbringing to make a valuable contribution to society outside the workplace. With over 30 years of community service experience, Mika has led many organizations that advocate and provide services benefitting the disadvantaged. She has supported environmental conservation by educating the public about energy efficiency, use of eco-friendly household products, and by supporting the Farmer’s Market in the sales of locally grown foods. She has advocated for immigration reform by promoting afterschool programs for bilingual children and by helping adult immigrants with English skills or basic job training. Mika has also been an active participant in funding cancer research and continues to participate in raising monies for cancer treatment, Alzheimer’s research, and other life-threatening diseases, as motivated by her mother’s lifelong charitable service in various communities, and more recently, in response to her mother’s suffering as she lost the battle to Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease.
